A modern comedy that shifts between dream and reality.
Through tragic-comic situations, psychological games, personal adversities and many comical mishaps, the family of the recently departed Thanasis Gogos is led to its deliverance.
The dead man leaves his only asset - a cafeneion - to his daughters, who turn it into a bar (and specifically one of the many bars in Athens that play popular Greek music!). By doing this, they believe they will start a new life and be redeemed from the past.
The play reflects the reality of modern day, ridicules sibling relationships, the sisters jealousies and loves, while capturing everyday life through comical circumstances. |
